Even though the campground is in hibernation and the campers are

looking for summer and sunshine, those of us who enjoy the snow...

are hoping for more of a winter than the rainy season that has captivated Garrett County.

Hopefully, Punksatony Phil's prediction for 6 more weeks of winter will bring the

winter enthusiasts the snow-filled season they have been waiting for!

Don't you start to miss the camping season this time of year?

 Wish you could wake up to the smell of mountain air at Deep Creek

 and walk to the  camp store for a nice cup of morning coffee?

Or, do you wish you could have an afternoon picnic or a relaxing evening campfire?

You're not alone!

However, some of us enjoy this time of year a little more than the rest.
